Jordan Birdsong, CPA

Jordan is a native of Columbia County, growing up in Appling, and graduating from Harlem High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Augusta University. In 2020, he began his tax internship with SME and has since progressed to his current role as a Tax Supervisor. During his time with the firm, Jordan earned his CPA license and became actively involved in the local business community. He currently serves as an officer for the Augusta Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and as treasurer for the Young Professionals of Augusta. In addition, he is a member of the Columbia County Chamber’s Leadership Class of 2026 and a graduate of the Columbia County Young Men on the Move Class of 2022. Jordan attends Kiokee Baptist Church in Appling and enjoys giving back to the community both through his work and in his free time.
