Jay Sanders, CPA
Jay Sanders was born in Augusta and raised in Waynesboro, GA. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Harvey J. Sanders, Jr. He graduated from Burke County High School and went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mercer University in 1997. Jay earned his CPA license in 2000.
Jay worked with a regional accounting firm for 4 years before joining the team at Serotta Maddocks Evans & Company, CPA’s. Jay enjoys public accounting because it allows him to work in multiple types of businesses and with people from various backgrounds. Jay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jay serves on the finance committee of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, where he attends church. He is also a member of the Augusta Exchange Club.
