Rita Ray

Rita Ray graduated Cum Laude from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration.  She also obtained the designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP).  Rita is the specialist within Serotta Maddocks Evans & Co. CPA’s estate and trust taxation department as well as estate planning.  As a Director at Serotta Maddocks Evans & Co., CPA’s, Rita possesses extensive experience in tax services for individuals, fiduciaries, estates, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.  She also assists clients in the healthcare field.

Rita is a member of the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education, LLC, the Augusta Estate Planning Council, and the CSRA Medical Managers Association.  Rita is also involved with the Merchants Association of Columbia County and a member of Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez.

Family:  Stuart, husband, and daughter Tori (Jordan and two grandchildren, Sam and Austin)

Fun:  traveling, fishing, preparing Sudoku, attending concerts and being with family
