Serotta Maddocks Evans & Co., CPA’s was established in the early 1950’s. The founder’s philosophy for providing quality and timely tax, audit, accounting, and business advisory services to clients remains the cornerstone for the firm’s current operation. Serotta Maddocks Evans & Co., CPA’s services go beyond the expected as we help our clients create history as well as fulfill our traditional accounting role of recording history. At SME, we attempt to find solutions and present alternatives to problems instead of just answering inquiries. The firm serves clients in a variety of industries including local governments, public school systems, non-profit organizations, health care services, wholesale distribution, retail, manufacturing, and professional and financial service providers. Services to these industries include corporate and individual taxation, audit and accounting, and operations consulting. The firm's seven principals, Abram J. Serotta, E. J. Maddocks, Rick L. Evans, Michelle Bennett, Jay Sanders, Andrea Usry and Paul Wade represent over one hundred fifty (150) years of experience in public accounting. They are responsible for ensuring that clients’ needs are met and that value-added services are provided in each engagement. The firm currently employs a team of with a variety of talents and experience. Team members are assigned to engagements based upon the requirements of the job and their ability to use their talents and experience in guaranteeing successful delivery of the services desired.
